Adventure View and Edit

Adventure Aide

The Task

  • Design refreshed views for the adventure details, as well as the adventure creation flow.

The Goal

  • Create clean, accessible layouts that encourage guests to book adventures.
  • Make it easy for adventure leaders to create adventures, without making the process overwhelming to them.

The Challenge

  • Accommodate both single and multi-day adventures.
  • Develop clear visual hierarchy for extremely content heavy pages.

The adventure edit view is used only by the adventure leaders, or Aides, of the platform. I worked closely with the main Aide coordinator of the company during development to ensure that all use-cases would be accommodated.

Below are a few select views of the experience, as well as a complete prototype to interact with.

Scroll and click on items in the prototype as you would if it were a fully working app.

The adventure details screen is one of the most important views of the app, since it's what our platform sells. It was imperative that we were able to create a clean design while still offering all information a guest might seek when making the decision to book.

To do this, I collapsed content where possible and tried to break up large blocks of text into more interesting visual modules. I placed a heavy emphasis on hierarchy to make it easily parseable when trying to locate specific sections.
